David L. Mastos, LUTCF is the Managing Director of DLM Financial Solutions. Remember the adage "A Penny Saved Is a Penny Earned "? Unlike typical financial advisors, Dave believes that instead of being more aggressive and taking more risk, it is safer to increase your returns and grow your wealth by eliminating "Transferred Money" like taxes and other inefficient expenses. This can be accomplished through the use of a "Distribution Plan" which ensures that you accumulate assets in the right type of accounts during your working years and that you distribute those assets from the right type of accounts during your retirement thereby avoiding the retirement tax trap.

David's financial services career began in 1996 as a captive agent for one of the largest insurance and financial services companies in the United States. His continuing desire to learn eventually led him to work for a large insurance brokerage firm as an internal wholesaler where he trained and supported premier agents and financial planners from all across the country. This is where he honed his skills as a specialist in searching out the best solutions to fill client's needs. Although he did enjoy the work, Dave missed the personal relationships and interaction he had with his own clients so he decided to establish an independent financial services firm to provide his clients with the finest array of financial solutions available.


Dave has lived in the Oregon, Wisconsin area for over twenty-five years. He lives in Raven Oaks with his wonderful wife and children. Dave believes that it is crucial for people to be involved in order to maintain and improve the quality of life in their community. Dave has been a member of the Madison Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors since 1996. He is on the Board of Directors of and is currently serving as the Treasurer of the Oregon Area Chamber of Commerce.
